Words fall short in number when time comes for praising this person . 27th November of 1940 is a date to be remembered because a legend was born who had changed the history of Martial Arts in his own style. He was the son of a Cantonese Opera Star. Lee Ju Fan, popularly known as Bruce Lee . What makes him great ! An iconic Chinese American martial artist who had further delivered himself as an actor filled with capabilities and stamina. He was the man behind changing the way of presenting Asians in Hollywood screens.

Lee was raised in Kowloon Hong Kong. He stepped in the cinema world at a very young age . At his 18 years of age he was shifted to University Of Washington to receive higher education and, by then, he had even completed his 20 films . Suddenly, martial art became a need for his career . He got engaged in learning martial arts and started with Wing Chun . And the rest of his martial art career was history. Tai Chi, street fighting, boxing, karate, judo, taekwondo like martial arts became part of his skills.




Later, he founded his own concept of mixed martial art (MMA) and termed it as Jeet Kune Do ( The Way Of the Intercepting Fist ) . He showcased all his abilities through Hollywood films and given a new angle to the martial art films . Bruce Lee became a sensational figure in the entire world and people loved his fighting spirit in some of his blockbusters like The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, Game of Death etc. . He represented Asian martial arts via films and television shows and made people fell in fondness of it. Whether a side kick that beaks 45 kg Sandbag, 9 times punch in a second, 6 times kick in 1 second , 1500 pushups with both hands, 400 with one hand, 200 with two fingers, or 100 with one finger, everything was possible for this Godfather of MMA and all his abilities have got a place in Guinness Book of World Records . Legends like UFC founder Dane White, boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard, boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, famous martial artist like Jackie Chan considered Bruce Lee as a source of their inspiration .


The Time magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century . In 2004, Lee was awarded Star Of The Century and remained a deserving guy of various other titles, but still, these awards fall short to define his legacy . He is not a man who can be forgotten because his contributions to the World Of Martial Arts were very much influential and played a vital role in changing the attitude towards Asians in America.
